The Community of St Simon and St Kentigern

The Community has the exclusive use of a Cemetery Chapel just outside the town which has now been converted for use for Orthodox worship. The Liturgy is celebrated there on the third Saturday of the month at 10.30 in English, and on some other Saturdays.

The Community in Dalton belongs to the Greek Archdiocese of Great Britain and Thyatira, under the Ecumenical Patriarch in Constantinople.

Fr John assists the parish with liturgies from time to time.

Carlisle

Once a year, at the invitation of the Dean and Chapter of the Anglican Cathedral of Carlisle, our two communities celebrate Great Vespers for the Theophany on the nearest Sunday to this Feast at 3.00pm.
